These are 1600 HP IGBT DEMUs with 3-phase AC transmission. These new DEMUs with 10-car formation has a total seating capacity of 756 persons and lot of improved and advanced passenger friendly feature such as wider vestibules, ergonomically designed cushioned seats, aesthetic interiors etc. These DEMUs have Stainless Steel body coaches designed on LHB platform with Stainless Steel aerodynamic nose cone at driving end of power cars.
