WG-10560 'Antim Sitara' --- Production of steam locomotives of independent India originated on 26th January 1950 with a WG class locomotive and incidentally the production was stopped on June 30, 1970 with a WG class locomotive as well. The last WG bearing the fleet number # 10560 rolled out of the assembly lines of CLW, thus appropriately named as 'Antim Sitara' - The Last Star. This 2-8-2 steamer was last seen in working condition at Kharagpur of South Eastern Railway. After getting decommissioned, this loco was preserved & rested at the CLW Loco Park.
