WDG3A-NTPC-08 --- The Alco production is still underway in DLW but limited to the Industrial Locos only !!! In focus is an unit of WDG3A locomotive # 008 belonging to National Thermal Power Corporation's Super Thermal Power Plant (STPP) at Singrauli - the First Power Station of NTPC. This brand new locomotive was found drying its paint at Varanasi and was awaiting its turn to get transported to its home. Industrial Shunters like WDS6ADs are still manufactured at the Parel Workshop but it is a real joy to see this beast in production as well, how less the number may be. Framed by Somsubhra Das.
