The Queen's Baton Relay is the curtain raiser & one of the great traditions of Commonwealth Games. Before every Games the Baton travels through each of the commonwealth nations, thus symbolising their unity & brotherhood. Baton carries Queen Elizabeth's special message, to be read out at the opening ceremony.
